Sad news today in my e-mail:

"It is with great regret that we announce the closing of Nth Degree Mobility. We have suffered a series of setbacks over the past 7 months that we have been unable to recover from, and so we have closed our doors as of last week. We apologize for every inconvenience our sudden closure causes you. We have greatly appreciated all of your support over the years as we have/had one of the strongest customer bases of any company we know …and we’re sorry to have to disappoint all of you.

For what it’s worth, we are in talks with a well known manufacturer who may pick up and carry on the Nth Degree line of products; if that happens you will hear from them when they announce it.

Take care and may all of your off-road adventures be awesome

Jim & Nicole Frens"

IMO, Nth designed and built the finest and most well thought out products. We will miss them but I strongly suspect that their negotiations will go well and they will reemerge from the ashes like the Phoenix. A Toast!

That's a shame. I came across them when I started looking at LJ's as a potential vehicle and I really like their concepts.

Man, that blows! besides making a very good product Jim and Crew are as good as they come. I had a blast with them at the AT event at Pyramid Lake. I'm sure Jim will land on his feet and were there is a door closing, another is always opening. I'll second a toast to Nth Degree, Jim and his next endeavor !

I really commiserate with Jim and his family. He has a wife and child with an other on the way, so the timing really sucks.

Being a small manufacturer has some real headaches. There is not as much profit in it as everyone thinks and the money flowing out doesn't always equal the money flowing in.

Eventhough I´m Rubicon Express fan, is really a shame to hear this.
Their suspension kits were a piece of art.
Best luck to them.

they are the guys that built seth greens liberty. thats terrible to hear. seeing as how all i have heard about rock krawler is crap they were the next guys to go to. yeah small time manfacturing is always tough, the same thing happened to AOR. but their customer service was awful.

best of luck to them. i hope they come out on top. they had really nice stuff.

Never good to hear... I saw their products on the trail and at trade shows, excellent designs and execution. Sad to see them have to shut the doors. Best of luck to them on their future endevours :D

Wow, that sucks. I was considering some of their parts for the future chassis overhaul on my TJ. They made some slick stuff.

I like their 'think different' approach.
No kidding.
I had never considered their products (no particular reason, really). This news sure has sparked some publicity, because it made me look them up. Incredible product line that looks first-class. Perhaps this could be a reminder to support the innovators and free thinkers, lest they all fall away.
