While cleaning up from my trip I notice the shower door latch is broken. I tried Purple Line no luck. Any one have a source for this?

I ordered anti-fap arms and porch sidewall awning directly from Awnlux. Ordering info below.

I was able to install the anti-flap arms at my home but have not been able to fully install the porch sidewall awning yet because I had nowhere to anchor the guidelines.

It took me about two hours for the initial set up. Some drilling to install of awning brackets required. I have a camping trip to Yosemite on Saturday to get a real-world test of the new products.

The anti-flap arms made a world of difference; the entire awning became heavy and strong after I installed. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and strength of the product. As you know right now the awning feels a little flimsy and lightweight. After installing the anti-flap arms the awning became very solid. It feels like I can confidently leave my awning out for multiple day camping trips. It's still important to lower one leg when it rains so that the water flows off the awning.

Pros
  • Heavy-duty constructed of steel awning feels very secure after install
  • Ability to leave awning up in higher wind
  • Porch awning can be set up on refrigerator or kitchen and of trailer (you could purchase two porch awning's)
  • Refrigerator in the shade!
  • Not more cooking in the rain or wind porch awning material good quality waterproof
  • Comes with quality collapsible poles
Cons
  • Storage
  • Transporting
  • Weight (Arms are 20lb)
  • Set up time
  • Shipping cost (could go higher due to tariffs)

More info to come after my real world test Here's what I ordered from Awnlux in Hong Kong directly.
Anti Flap Arm W5000AFA -2.5M-Black EXW price is $110USD per set
Awning Porch W5000P EXW price is $100USD per unit
The shipping cost will be based on the quantity and delivery address.

Just got back from our annual road trip with the Dweller.
2,632 miles this year. NO problems or issues to report. Hit the Colorado mountains this year and dragged it over Monarch Crest, 11,312 feet, with empty tanks of course. That one was a second gear climb. Current mileage on camper over the past 3 years is 8,839 miles.

Obligatory Wyoming camping pic.

Details! So what was your towing mileage overall?

I see your weight distribution hitch. Have you posted that in the past?

In addition, even with it, it may just be optical. Looks like you’re a hair nose down with a little bit of squat? Do you have any plans for airbags or additional springs or what not?

See you swing by you just camp out or did you stay in hotels at all while you were traveling to catch up?

I might not have read the first post. Was it just you to have family dogs with you?

I haven't measured mileage since we drove the truck off the lot in 2020 and started modifying it.
Equalizer hitch was installed 3 years ago.
No plans for any airbags. Installed Deaver stage 2 same time as hitch, Ironman FCP 2.5 heavy springs in front, Elka 2.5's rear, Hayden 679 tranny cooler and KDMAX 10.
2 week road trip, No Hotels, 1 stop over at a Loves truck stop RV spot in Green River enroute to RMNP.
Wife and I , no kids, no pets.
3,300 miles on truck odometer meant 668 miles of high elevation mountain passes traversed.IMG_20250904_174140.jpg20250901_125810.jpg20250831_144944.jpg20250831_130450.jpg

Has anyone experienced leaks in the skylight? Mine drips in heavy rain .. from the grille at the corner of the skylight ... by the on/off switch... I've been up on the roof to inspect... tried pouring on some self-levelling goop I got off amazon ... the drip moved from one corner of the vent to the other! I'm perplexed. Any good solutions to this?

I don’t have this issue…as of yet, but I did just install my skylight not too long ago and probably used the same goop you did. It seems to be holding up very well. So I’m wondering if your leak could be coming from somewhere other than the skylight. The wiring for the skylight is routed through a channel in the roof paneling over toward the flexible conduit, in basically a straight path. Perhaps there could be other protrusions in the roof that might be allowing water to seep into that channel and then travel over to the skylight? This is a wild ass guess so don’t roast me if I’m mistaken. :)

Yes, I have the same problem. I've tried resealing with lap sealant twice now. That has improved the situation, but in heavy rains I still get leakage. I can reduce the leakage by leaving the trailer at a significant pitch towards the tongue so rain doesn't pool up. My long term plan was to remove the skylight, carefully remove all the sealant, check any gaskets or rubber on the fixture and reinstall carefully with new sealant. Problem is, I ran out of time so that project will have to wait until Spring.

For those of you with Lithium batteries, do you disconnect those and bring them indoors in the offseason when temperatures get well below freezing? I've heard people recommending this because the plastic casing around the batteries can crack in those conditions.

I bring mine inside the garage during winter.
