Overland Expo just keeps getting better. The exhibitors are great. And the campground? Our camp neighbor on one side is Tom Collins of the Camel Trophy. Across the way are the Rover Divas and Teriann. Amazing community.

Hi J, it was great to finally meet you!

My favorite photo from the Expo. Ken Cameron, a Camel Trophy veteran, with the actual vehicle he competed in, with two of the Rover Divas. My daughter is the taller one.

love the green JK 4 door. Any more details on the long trailer with what appears to be 8 tents on top

That is a trailer owned by Jim Hyde of RawHyde BMW Motorcycle training. They use it for these type of events as well as at the training facility in CA.

Didn't get the name, but the thing sells for around $17,000.
When you go into the thing from the back, to the right is a stove and sink. There is only room for one person to stand back there and do anything. Two people MAX. Finish wash OK, but not great. I prefer the flip-top aka JK Habitat.

Sounds like the PULSE for JK you are referring to. I agree with your assessment only I would not say the finish was where it should be nor some of the interior construction for a shell in this price range. Maybe for a prototype then ok.

Fyi, we had planned on a daily video coverage - however our new videographer caught a nasty eye infection on Friday...hopefully we can piece something together later.

In any case, here are more pics:

I have met tons of people so feel free to ask questions if you want more details on anything.

As much as we appreciate the comfort of our new Bigfoot, I must admit that I still miss my old TroopCarrier. There will be another one in our life in the future.

We had a really good time and the vibe was great, much more people and things to see than last year. :Wow1:

Well done everyone!
