Well, I wouldnt go that far but it is a lot better than the TR straight six.
Actually it is. It holds 8 qts of oil, peaks its torque at 1800 rpms gear timing and weighs about 800 pounds.

Oil capacity makes a great motor? Really? I was unaware of that particular metric.
It sure does.
Explain that one for me please. Oil capacity does not make a motor better. It just doesnt. In fact, more oil can cause you to lose power if the crank has to go through it.

Well explain why diesels have more oil.

The 2F is a diesel? Really? Again, I was unaware of that. I was under the impression that it is, and always has been, a gas motor.
Explain to me why the sky is blue. Why are tomatoes green and then red? If you had to punch Jesus, your Grandma, or your mom in the face, I mean, absolutely HAD TO or they all died, who would you punch in the face?
In an off camber situation there is more oil in the pan that can be picked up by the pump.
1. You know, you can go back and edit posts instead of creating four one liner posts as you research and come up with answers.
2. Oil does absorb some heat but that is not its primary purpose and all of that is depending upon the internal design of the oil galleys and passages. Heat actually leads to a breakdown in oil.
3. In an off camber situation, if you have a lot of oil, itll hit the crank, become aerated and that can lead to starvation. Baffles and windage trays are far more effective.
