Out with the old, in with the new...F-150.

Be nice if ford was willing to allow customers to swap the stuff they want, guess that’s what eBay is for tho. Anyone have any good ideas on a hidden spot for a cb radio? My brother and I are heading to Colorado in August if the DOD decides to let us travel again?‍♂️

That's what drives me nuts with Ford.
XLT? chrome grille and bumpers. You want some more options? Congratulations, we added more chrome with that power seat, Leather steering wheel, and sliding rear window. Please enjoy Chrome mirrors, door handles, tailpipe, and wheels.

Yep. Walk on a truck lot,
”I’d like a truck without chrome all over it.”
”We have a 3-cyl tradesman for 28k, or a Raptor/Rebel/TRD Pro for 58k”

And if you live in Texas, the dealer lots take all the off-road trims into the shop for a little chrome up-fitting.

Weird. XLT sports (zero chrome) are 90% of what dealers stock up here in Canada.

XLT sport is significantly more money than an XLT, and I've only seen them with consoles and buckets, not a bench. But yeah I've not seen any STX or sport XL trucks but lots of XLT sports and Lariat Sports. Big $

Is it riding season yet?

You can buy a left over 2019 60k MSRP loaded XLT Sport for like 47k right now, good time to buy (about 34k USD)

How did you go about that? I don’t have run but they hang down below the bumper.
The front crash bars appear to have the nut tac welded on?

1) Remove front bumper
2) Back crash bar bolts out and cut heads off, they will then fall out, and you'll be able to slide them out.
3) Swap them to the other side, and slide new bolts in the opposite way so you can put a nut on the top.

I thought the sport option was approx $1,700? Yes, part of the package is buckets with console shift. No bench available with the sport package. I've seen quite a few XL sports on the lots here.

Looks awesome! Hopefully getting my 3rd F-150 this weekend. Will prob go with a 2019 STX with FX4 and hopefully the 5.0. The 3.5 Would be alright as well...have the 2.7 currently and its awesome I just want something different. It's funny you guys are saying you cant find a bench seat in the package you want...I don't want a bench seat and its hard to find a low trim FX4 without a bench seat! Center console all day!

Agreed. I have the buckets w/ console shift in mine and I'd actually prefer a column shift with the console. Just rare to find one.

I'd prefer a console as well, we don't need the middle front seat and even folded down for an armrest it sits up too high. I know there are guys on the F-150 forum who've put the "flow through" console into a bench seat truck and IIRC the expense was actually not bad, under $400 I think.

However, it requires removal of both front seats so it's basically a multi-hour project. Much as I'd like a center console, I don't see having (or taking) the time to do the swap any time soon.
