My oldest in 2009 above Molas Lake Near Silverton Colorado. We were at almost 11,000'
Did a little hike-in camping over Memorial Day

Did a 4 day trip into the Arrowhead region of Northeast MN, with my 10 year old son JP.
13 1/2" Brown on his first cast!! (I've wet a line in this lake many times over 15 years, and never landed a fish!)
And he must have gotten a hold of the camera, LOL
Had a blast! JP has Asbergers Disorder, and this was a big trip for him (for both of us, really!) 4 days, mom was 150 miles away, and he slept in in his own tent (with the dog), even through 2 thunderstorms!

Seems like after the first camping trip to Lake Powell, UT at 4mos old, my son was hooked! Now, after 6 yrs we have camped in 7 different states, Mexico twice, and even in an airport! We are always on the lookout for a new adventure, and many more 4 wheeling trips to come. I can't imagine going without him
