Am I missing something? I went online to buy my one-day pass, which supposedly is $25, and $67.80 got added to the cart for one ticket. So it's not really $25 because you have to pay the entrance fee to the event PLUS the entrance fee to the Biltmore Estate?
Even I have to pay as a presenter, Jeff.
The estate is amazing, I hear.

We'll be at the gate Saturday morning at 8:30 when it opens.
Somebody please come to the roundtable pavilion at 10:00... Title is Overland Eastern North America. Dean Shirley and a few others will be with us.

Anybody can come to a roundtable talk ---- it's at the roundtable pavillion, off to the side of the vendor area in the middle, not the river side, the estate side.
Roundtable talks are sit-downs with a panel and the audience fires questions at us. It's fun stuff.
Our talk is 10 on Saturday. Not so many people come to the North America talks but, imho, North America is where most of us do this thing we like to do...

Well consider me there then. I'll most likely have a couple friends come with also.

Will try to make it if it does not conflict with one of Ann's talks (sorry Bill you are second fiddle to my wife... thank God)... but I would really like to attend that roundtable.

and
"Ramp" Up Your Camp Menu:

Southeast
—NEW 0800 and 1300 on Sunday
and
Experts Panel: Travel Medicine &

And I would like to get to New Belgium also, but ,might not happen this trip. My first intro to "good beer" was Fat Tire while in Truckee, CA at the "American Bar" before New Belgium came east...

Neat. Mirtes will be all over the wild edibles ---- we do that as we hike now.

I have one of the QA techs in-house right now for a GC class and she is super-duper cool. Even though she drives an FJ Cruiser.... ....but she almost bought a Jeep.
I'm a big fan of their Trippel. Yum.

I wasn't complaining, just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong on the site since I clicked on the $25 Daily button and didn't have any other choice but to add $40-something to that to get into the estate.

I plan to be there Saturday, not sure yet if I'll have the JKU Safari, one of the other Jeeps, or something less interesting.

Sweet I will come join you and hang out. Will be nice to put a face with you here. I am just camping so I will have plenty of time. Last year I took my 7 year old and with her and the weather I didnt get to experience too much. She didnt like the vendor area she wanted to play in the rain and mud :D At least she loved it. I cannot wait to get out of here. Leaving with 2 others 1 who is teaching there and we are leaving the morning of the 4th and working our way up there. In fact I was wanting to pick your brain about some places on the return as we are probably going to do the dragons tail and work our way down into GA for a place to stop at for the night. I was looking at Mistletoe SP for the nightly stop but really am open to any place that may be awesome to camp at.

Donny

I will be there in my Jeep with my Ecotrek Trailer

Jeff,

Yes you have to buy a Biltmore ticket which I think was $49 with tax or something. I will agree that the site to place orders was a little tricky. I used a CC with my wifes name on it and didnt realize until 2 days later that my wife is registered for expo and I am not as it only asked for Name and billing information of CC and nothing about who was attending the event so with some back and forth with the expo team we have it resolved thank heavens but it could have been an issue for me if I had not caught it ahead of time.
