Am I missing something? I went online to buy my one-day pass, which supposedly is $25, and $67.80 got added to the cart for one ticket. So it's not really $25 because you have to pay the entrance fee to the event PLUS the entrance fee to the Biltmore Estate?
Good dispersed camping along this stretch: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/34....39062,-84.1729112/@34.6678406,-84.2432924,13zSweet I will come join you and hang out. Will be nice to put a face with you here. I am just camping so I will have plenty of time. Last year I took my 7 year old and with her and the weather I didnt get to experience too much. She didnt like the vendor area she wanted to play in the rain and mud At least she loved it. I cannot wait to get out of here. Leaving with 2 others 1 who is teaching there and we are leaving the morning of the 4th and working our way up there. In fact I was wanting to pick your brain about some places on the return as we are probably going to do the dragons tail and work our way down into GA for a place to stop at for the night. I was looking at Mistletoe SP for the nightly stop but really am open to any place that may be awesome to camp at.
Donny
I will be there in my Jeep with my Ecotrek Trailer

Great area to explore, ride around in. You can take the back way up the mountain and into Amicalola Falls State Park from FS-28. Beautiful area.
It's completely wilderness there, btw. If you want a campground, Amicalola Falls has a nice one (state park style), For Mountain, Vogel, etc.Sweet thank you for this. I will check this out at work today.
Even I have to pay as a presenter, Jeff.
The estate is amazing, I hear.
We'll be at the gate Saturday morning at 8:30 when it opens.
