The people were certainly the high point of the trip. From the parking lot guy asking what they could do better (more trash cans) to the head guy of Jeep North america taking the time to listen to what we want in new vehicles, the people were just great. Folks that I have enjoyed reading for years and had a bit of hero worship of were happy to take the time to talk and listen. The underlineing message? "Go somewhere, Do something!" Dont wait to get your vehicle fully farkled, go and see and do. I was there with a cheap tent and no fridge and had a blast! If you can't afford the complete expirience, go with a day pass. I couldn't even afford day passes for each day so I hung out in the camping area and met folks and asked "newbie" questions.

So, so much to soak in. As cool as the Amado location was, (is) I like the idea of moving around a bit......................

I like that word, "farkled".

"You ain't getting nothing done just standin' around dreamin' about it!" - the foreman at the sheet metal shop I worked at when I was a teenager

Do you know anything about the tan'ish rig with the white doors in this photo? Fuso FG? I don't think I've seen it on here before.....But my memory isn't the best.

That is a very clever bespoke creation from Four Wheel Campers. I'm hoping we can do a story on it soon.
