Looks to be poopy weather until Sunday…… I was planning to camp Fri & Sat night… may just come up Sat now….. Possibly Hotel Sat in Flag. Any suggestions on hotel up there?
Really wanted to camp it this year but for a quick in & out may have to do it all domesticated & house broken style! My son is joining me but he has the school thing to deal with fri/mon so may cut things short a bit combined with the weather. 30 degrees in a cold wet tent for one night….hmmmmm /-:

I saw the weather as well and will be changing from my spring bag to possibly my winter bag for this trip.

I am guessing the enclosed nature of the Dormobile will come in handy with this type of weather. Although the weather will not be idea, will make for a great time around some virtual fire places!

Nope. All real deals. I am a fan of the weird & cursed with creativity & A.D.D. I was gonna bring up the XM-410 this year & float it in the pond but she is not watertight yet. The bus is close to done but on 54" ZXls&#8230; she does not leave Metro Phoenix. Plenty of room in the Toyota to sleep but I've stripped her down and the interior is a storage area for all the new stuff going to bolt back on it. The buggys are expensive go-karts and not street legal. The JK is it for this weekend and at 6'3" I'll wait for the "africa" edition to sleep in! My time up there is limited as my son needs to get back for school so looks like a quick turn around this time. We shall see! Love to camp but never invested in a good winter bag. Not a fan of wet or cold! 40+ years in AZ makes you a fan of the warmth too&#8230;..

FYI&#8230; MAD MAX will be playing in Flagstaff beginning Friday night! Would be cool to do an overland takeover of a theater at a 7pm show or something! Just throwing it out there!

me too, always been attracted to odd vehicles. make it a day run then, its a good time and worth it just to walk around and BS with others.

I would but I want to camp whatever the weather. I'll set up the tent but if it's too cold like predicted, we'll hunker down in the 4Runner probably. And yeah, we'll look for your subaru.
