Is anyone familiar if with the EAS you get any height advantages over coils? I persuaded my nephew to a 1995 classic and I'm helping him bring it back to its stock glory. His truck currently sits on coils and they look to be a stock height on Blisten shocks.

Anyone have any experience with Arnott air bags on their classic? I love the GEN III airbags from Arnott on my 2001 P38.

We are currently looking to de-murder it. These pictures are of the ad.

Will have to source a few used air bags and carry one front and one rear airbags for when on the trail/trips.

Btw this is the beginning of project de-murdering:

Scott - any update on the OJ RRC ?

Still happy with the 215/85 tire size? I'm about to go the same size in the S/T Maxx...

The RRC is awesome, and a slow/purposeful restoration. We are going through engine systems and freshening everything at the moment. I still want to swap to the LR Genuine HD springs, but that can wait until everything is working like new. I am also still considering reverting back to air suspension, certainly a terrible idea. . .

That tire size is perfect for a stock RRC or one with a small lift.

My new toy...1995 Range Rover Classic LWB

Tow was fun and the Arnott Gen III were surprisingly stable and smooth ride. Toughest challenge was around the Oxnard area going up a incline.

What year is that white RRC it sure looks sweet. 87 or 88?

The difference in size between 215/85R16 and 245/75R16 is .3" in diameter and roughly 1.5" in width.

Depending on the tire, the load range can vary a great deal and you are dealing with a very skinny tire.

If you know what a 245/75 tire feels like, the 215 is going to feel a lot less stable and will be very noticeable on road. They will be less durable. Make sure that you can bail on them after a test drive if you do not like them.

On my disco, I had to do just a bit of trimming for the 245 and stock suspension. I did nothing to my RRC.

Bri thanks. My RRC is an 88. 40th anniversary. I'm looking for a 40th anv decal for my passenger side fender. If anyone has any leads on those decals please be kind to let me know.
