Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

Cool. I haven't seen that writeup before, definitely tucking that one away for later use. ;)

Even so, given that Scott just replaced the fuel pump, and it wasn't being intermittent before he worked on it, it made me think the connections at the pump were a bit dodgy.
Looks like all of hank's posts have been deleted (I could be wrong) so I thought I'd repost this one about the alarm spider modifications.

Yeah, they delete over half of them. This place is run much like Muddy Oval.

Watch how long this one lasts.

Yeah- sometimes people just don't want to be hassled by trolls, childish namecalling and false accusations. We call those people "adults."

Sometimes people just don't want to hear the truth. That's called "denial".

LOL, ok Stevie.

I'd be happy to take it some place else. But I know that as soon as Scott or any of the other 100 moderators see this, it will be deleted anyway. So I'm not real worried about it.

But as I look through this thread, I'm not seeing where you added too much to the topic - yet it's me who's killed the topic.

"Denial", look it up, Steve.

100 moderators????????

Convenient that you can take umbrage at posts being removed when most people never saw the content.

Your complaint has been made, lets move on.

So just because you never saw it means I never posted? Get real, Connie. Your attempts to call me out as a liar are about as lame as Steve Young's reputation.

Right now, "Hank's" posts are set to "global ignore", which is automatically turned on and off based on the percentage of members who have Hank set to their individual ignore lists. It is simple math.

Ignore is a great feature of VBulletin and allows anyone to ignore any members posts (even mine if you don't like me). Use the tool.

It comes from a select of the MySQL DB table (ignorelist). Then the user gets added to the "Tacky Goes to Coventry" (in_coventry) table. It is based on .005% of active users. Simple stuff...

We do have a simple list of rules. I can appreciate why some people may not like the rules, but we are a big community and this community is about a little more civil and respectful dialog. Most like it...

Congrats on running a clean board, Scott. It's not always easy to do.

I think Dan has good intentions, but there just seems to be a challenge with our very simple rules - too bad. He offered several good suggestions in this thread.

However, I do agree with Dan's position on ProComp shocks and TMax winches. :ylsmoke: So let's keep the other forums flame wars out of ExPo...

OK, back to our regularly scheduled Disco repair and modification thread...
