I think the long and short was the guy designed an E-store with a whole bunch of product pictures and all that, some keyword magic to make it rank high in search results, and then was looking to dump it. There were no supplier agreements for any of the products listed or essentially any actual business infrastructure at all, just a website with a shatload of categories but no actual physical products.
