Looks good there is a guy on IG with the same rear design. He integrated and molded steps. Ever considered that?

This one was pretty cool he had 2 fiberglass steps integrated in by alternating half steps. If I find the pic again I will post it

How much space for storage will there be when the drawer is closed? Between rear of drawer and the back of the driver's side door? Trying to figure out storage for solar panel, chairs, rollup table, etc.

For sure not enough for solar... this is really a systems compartment...you really don't stuff moving around in here.. can do costly damage fast.

There is gonna be a rear step on it

Your rear bottom door setup kind of reminds me of a vehicle I spent a lot of time (probably too much). It had a rear fold up step with a cable release. But also had an integrated seat when it was closed, which Imthought might be a nice addition for when yours with the similar amount of space.
