The video was too big to upload to my Photobucket account so I made it available to everybody on Facebook but I didn't realize you'd have to login to see it. Any suggestions for a good video site that can handle more than 100mb?

My daughter, Jasper, and myself running Douglas Rapid on the North Platte river last weekend in Wyoming. It was running about 1500cfs and we were loaded for a 3 day camping trip.

Thanks Dave! And as is usually the case, pictures just don't do it justice. The water to the horizon view combined with the colors of the cliffs and water, as well as the sounds of the gulls and water in the sea cave caverns, the smell even, its truly inspiring. That's why I love paddling so much. All the sensory stimulation that accompanies it! ha ha

Funny, we did see a few, scared the heck out of the wife (front of the canoe) when I paddled her right up close to one, it thrashed in the water and took off.

Here are some new ones, some from late June, others from mid July off the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan.

On this day I took my friends out for their first kayak paddle. This was along the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Frank is from Panama and Isha from India. They kept marvelling at the blue of the "glacier" water. haha
