Great work. I like how you used the Utili-Tracks on top of the bed cap but did you everything of designing a top shlef/bed cap using the Utili-Tracks system?

I did think about that, but figured that using the tracks in the bed and bolting them to the new deck was easier. The steel structure makes me feel better about the tent on top.

Out of curiousity, when fully loaded, ready to hit the road, how much weight over stock are you carrying? How does the rig handle (particularly the engine) when fully loaded on the rough stuff?

WOW what a great job on mods! My only suggestion is that you add 2 more yakima bars. I can tell you that those bars will not hold up to the tent being on there. The distance between the towers is to far aprat for the wieght. I speak from experience on this. If you do not add more bars you will bend those the first time you hit some moderate trails if not sooner. Other then that great job amigo! I really like the large drawer witht he fridge in it well thought out.

Since I read every line... I may as well comment on probably the most important.... something you've thought of but I have to say planely... don't spend all the money on the truck!!!! Take more time off and go more places!:088:

Nice looking rig as always!

Moab, actually. Lucky punk.......:punk03:

I'm not sure how lucky. As I drove through Moab on my way home yesterday my temp gauge read 101... I have a feeling I may see him in the San Juans sooner than anticipated, then again, he is from Arizona.
