Received my wireless thermometer from Wil yesterday, only took a few minutes to install and works great. The display reads the ambient temp in the truck, the fridge temp, & also has a clock. It only took about 20 minutes on the #2 setting to bring the fridge down to 32F ! I mounted the remote display panel on my cage with a Fourtreks cage clamp & velcro and mounted the temp sensor on the lid of the fridge with the supplied velcro.

What are you using to make the dimples?

First use a good hole cutter bit like these -

Then dimple dies with a pneumatic shop press (or impact wrench & thru bolt, or a hydraulic jack and steel table, or....anything that will compress the two dimple die halves) -

Here's a picture of my bed during fabrication - we were able to use lighter (10 Ga) steel and make it strong by using dimple dies. That's really the reason behind using them, to keep things strong and light.

And a few other things like antiwrap bar -

Bump stop gussets -

Rear axle truss -

Rock sliders & backing plates for the boat sides -

Ok damnit.....so I have a "thing" for dimple die holes !

We just got back from a 4-day camping/wheeling trip in Harlan, KY for the April Fools Toyota run - had a blast! Camping on the mountain got a little interesting on Thursday night when a pretty rough storm blew through. Oh yeah, this was the first trip with the Engel also....all I can say is wow, we are definitely spoiled now :wings:!

I almost got to try out the roll cage this weekend at Grayrock, but the only picture anybody got was on a cell phone after I had finally got it to climb out of this monster rut. At one point, I could lean my elbow out the window and touch the ground......

As usual, the picture is very deceiving - if you tried to run the "flat" looking area above the rut, you would be almost guaranteed a roll because it's way off camber. This is the "Big Egg" trail, did it the evening prior when it was dry like it wasn't even there......the mud made things a little more interesting.....

Also just found out that we're going to give the Ultimate Adventure another shot this year.....if these R&P's do a repeat, I'm retiring from this crap!

Love what you have done with the tundra.. i drool when i see it.

That was a major jones busting the r&p's but you kept on going and the truck kept doing its thing anyways!

Great job and keep it up. Some of us are living vicariously through you here!

I love the UA's as well.. someday i want to get there but i have alot of work to do before then. Can you spill where it will be this year or is that a no no?

Man I wish I knew where....or even when we were going - we don't get that info until about a month prior, not knowing is the tough part! It's definitely a little unnerving!

that's cool.. i am sure it will be fun no matter what.. just maybe a little more interesting if it is on the west coast or somewhere with a LONG drive.. i wish they would come northeast sometime!?
