^Bud hasn't yet created a bolt-on skid for the 05+ Tacomas yet.:(

Streaker - very nice rig. I'm very excited to see that bumper installed - I didn't know CBI was making these for the 05+ generation.

Mine was the first. I asked him to make it for me back in July. It took until now to get an 05+ in and design it. I would assume he would be all good to go getting them out faster since he has all the measurements and what not now.

Really looks nice. First saw your pictures on TTORA.
Can't wait to see the rear bumper, like everyone else!
How many inches of rear lift did you ask for on the Alcans? What did you end of getting?

Thanks

I believe there is about 4ins of lift in them. Someone I know is going to get them on for me since I can't really lift anything right now and I will see how much. I made sure there would be enough lift after they settled and the bumper was put on.

My fiancée is going to help me get the bumper on this weekend and then I will take some quick pics.

I know I should be patient, but....

do you have specs on the bumper? How much more rear end clearance will you gain, and is it designed with clearanced rear quarters? I get tired of dragging my *** everywhere I go.....

I just went out and did a quick rough measurement. The stock bumper height with factory hitch is 14ins tall. The new bumper is about 4ins tall, 6ins when I include Steve's hitch hole. Now these are rough measurements.

Aside from the bumper and springs, I have been working on getting the trunk as sealed as possible.

I put weather stripping along the tail gate and it is working very well.

But, now I am stuck at how to seal up the side compartments. A lot of dust comes in from there due to the three holes for the tabs. Anyone try to solve this problem?

I'm planning on doing the same once I get a cap. I am figuring the drain holes in the bed and compartments can be sealed with silicone or epoxy.

Well, here are some quick pics for everyone, taken with the shops crap camera. I have not put everything together yet, but the basics are there. As soon as I can I will get some decent photographs for everyone.

 Very nice design. Personally, I'd prefer some rear quarter panel protection, but otherwise it looks good and very functional. Looks like you gained quite a bit of departure clearance.

If/when you take more pics, I'd like to see how the tire swings out. Congrats. You might start competing with Willman for the hottest red Taco out there!

Yeah, I would have liked that too, but I am cool with this design. I gained a lot of departure clearance. I will get some decent pics by Christmas.
