We almost went to silver mt in Idaho because of the fires. But whistler ended up being awesome over the weekend! Got some much needed rain!

I've been neglecting my AmbuLand lately but it's not like I sat on my ******** ;)
This is what my 65 Econoline looked like when I bought her. Pretty cool but I hate carpet and a bed ain't cutting it when I wanna take my two boys on trips...

So I gutted her to the bare minimum and started over. For all the walls and doors I started with a layer of FatMat followed by a 1/2" closed cell foam then 2" Roxul and new paneling. Also built a new Foldable bench/bed with custom upholstery. Takes a while to do all the templates, stain, varnishing and all but the result works out for me. Still a few things call it done but so far so good.

And if needs be I can remove it all as I built it to be modular...

Now my boys are happy (and so am I) and we can use the van as a family :-D

Cheers

Putting the rack to its intended use, need some vertical stackers to make it a little more user friendly for the kayaks

The Dirty Gherkin.

This is my current beach van. I just bought an old Quigley ambo and I am just starting the conversion to an offroad/beach camper. I love seeing all these great rides in one place.
