T.Low, The van is sweet but you are killing me with the pic of moist dirt to ride on. Down here in N. Ca it is near 100* and dusty as He**. I really want to get a dual sport but right now I can only have one bike and I'm not ready to give up the KTM 300 yet.

I built a bike rack that has bolts that go through the pegs making the bike very secure, I can get pics if you like.

Use a fork brace. Most secure way to tie down a dirt bike. Look between the wheel the bottom triple clamp. I used the peg clamp method for years when I was racing, but bust a peg one day and was stuck.

Those wheels look like they're begging to get messed up on a rock...any reason you chose such a low profile package?

They are from the previous owner, van came with them. I will replaced with something more suitable like a 33" on a 17" rim, I just haven't got round to it yet.

Intro and my Van

Hi Everyone

I've been a van fanatic for a long time ..

After a series of VW's (72 camper 82 and 84 homebuilt weekenders)

I got my 95 Sportsmobile so I can Camp and tow small boats..(or large)

For those who don't like racks you can always try an innova inflatable kayak..
They perform well and are easy to carry.

The reson I got out of the vanagons was serviceability and towing capacity.

And here's what the Paddlevan pulls now

When I chose the van I opted for an outdoor kitchen and porta-potty..

Since I don't fry bacon in the bedroom at home I don't need to do it on the road :chef:
