Here is the family van after nine days out near Gunnison Co.
The nine of us (wife and seven kids) have been using the van for extended back country trips for years. We take it on Jeep trails rated moderate or less and have only been stuck once but that was because I forgot about the hitch hauler and lifted the wheels on departure angle.

9 of you?!? Wow, that must feel like a submarine sleeping quarter in there! ;) Are you tenting?
Great the kids don't stop you're camping and exploring!

We tent camp and still have several young kids so we have a lot to pack. We remove the rear seat, this gives us about 48" to the back of the rear most seat. We stack it to the ceiling plus the hitch hauler
Tear down and set up go pretty fast; many hands make for light work.

Awesome! We are just getting started with our family (2yr and 10 mo) - but my wife is the oldest of 7 kids and grew up with a 12 pass RB van - glad to see a big family getting out there.

Those 10 inch Hellas don't even look big on this thing...

Do you have spacers on the rear? Is your grill and bumper painted or plasti dipped? Oh and last question, what happened to the sweet wind bug deflector?

No spacers in the back just re arched leafs but will swap out for a proper softer leaf pack soon. These are too stiff with the re arch. Grill is painted and I just put that sweet bug deflector back on! haha it looks better now with the black grill.

WHITE RHINO . 2008 E-350 6.0

i've been lurking for a long time on this forum.

really love checking out all of the customization people do for adventure / work.

before I bought this rig, I emailed a few pics to Chris @ Ujoint... Once I got his blessing, I pulled the trigger - everyone knows Chris is the man!

planning to take the plunge and get a hi-top, Ujoint treatment - some 35" wheels, etc...

to be honest, 18 months and 30K miles and I'm loving it as a pretty stock vehicle.

the husky lives inside, next to the EZup. The Gamo pellet gun sits nicely on the rear AC.

i had a rack made out of extrusion for the milk crates. I can switch out camera gear and camping gear depending on the day.

for some reason this particular 6.0 is super super loud. 10 hour drive home from Tahoe the other day and my bones were rattling. haha.

anyhow, here is the usual configuration. toy / camera hauler.

thanks all for the pictures that have inspired me for years.

Looks good!
I'm so jealous of the wall liners you have, did they come with the van? That milk crate cabinet is also genius.

Nice to see another motovan! I use pelican cases for parts storage too.

I've never been excited about my "starter" van. 1998 E350 EB V10 cargo with a ton of miles and use as a cargo van. It is in the config I wanted but the huge repair bill 24 hours after I bought it just to get it back to Idaho left a really sour taste in my mouth. I just didn't have that warm and fuzzy feeling to sink all this money in it.

Yesterday, up pops a 97 350 EB V10 Club Wagon XLT on CL. $3k asking price. I decided to check it out. Super duper clean. Power everything. Exterior near perfect. Interior near perfect. Motor runs great. 196k miles. 4 brand new Cooper Discoverer ATP tires. The catch? Transmission is totally shot. I told guy I wasn't ready to throw out an offer. He threw out $2000 and said he wanted it gone. I slept on it and offered $1500 this morning. He passed but took $1800 when I countered. And that catch? I need to pull the tranny apart to change to 4wd and I had a rebuild budgeted anyways! Ha! I got me one screaming deal on this thing. Way more excited about this one!
