I came close to buying that van myself. The price was definitely right. I ended up going with another van from western NC. I'm curious how much work it took to patch up the rusty parts.

I have played this scenario out in my head many times. You are sitting there and a van pulls up in the parking lot, the back doors open a little ramp comes out. A car drives out of the back of the van and takes off.
I have dreamed of doing this for a long time, I still need to see if an old mini, the real ones would fit back there. I saw one the other day, I should have taken some measurements.
I've been hauling bikes - both dirt and street - in a van since 1972. They fit easily although on some you might have to take the mirrors off the handlebars. I've seen vans set up to haul three dirt bikes side by side. All kinds of room if you are hauling only one:
