R LeF, have you packed it for an overnighter?
I haven't yet, but sort of want to and sort of don't.
Truth be told, I want the Mrs to follow me around with van support so I can sleep in the pop top.:sombrero:
Like yours, my bike is not geared for the highway. And my front knob is way to soft of a compound for asphalt. (Running a Pirelli MT trials tire on the rear).
This is actually me and railbat Brian exploring with the bike on the back of my van. Came to some nasty stuff, so I took the bike off the back to scout out the rest of the road to see if it was worth taking the van thru the nasty stuff and ended up finding the coolest road with great views, including this bridge over a really cool creek. I ended up ridin and he chased in my van.
I guess I'm hesitant to pound my body on the Gas Gas for two days in a row broken up by only a night's sleep in a tent. I'm well into my comfort lovin 40's, man.
I didn't see too many pics of smaller enduros packed for overnighters. Hmm.
