I saw a semi loaded with JK's labeled for the border patrol heading south on the I-15 in Lake elsinore last week and for a moment I thought about a career change.....Then reality set and I went on to the job I still love. Still - would be a cool rig to have as your "work truck"

I can't find a picture I have but the local FD has picked up several FJ Cruisers to use as "cars," single firefighter response vehicles used to respond to low-priority calls and the like. I was very disappointed they didn't go with something else like a Grand Cherokee

Most likely a poacher vehicle or a drug dealer. Florida really likes to impound and repurpose vehicles. I wish I had a picture of baby blue Corvette driven by the biggest FHP Officer I have seen. He always cruised Alligator Alley.

naw it wasnt a seized vehicle. it was a fresh/brand new truck.

i know plenty of seized vehicles in the area. an escalade, cadillac deville, some honda civics, and even a dodge viper (red) are used by the Lee County Sheriff's dept in FL.

that JK is part of a huge list of modified FWC vehicles in Lee, Collier, and Charlotte county. they have lifted F250s, F150s, swamp buggies, some H1 humvees, dodge 2500s, some cherokees, and this JK. lots of money gets dumped into that area. 90% of those vehicles listed will come with lifts, tires, winches, lights, etc.

They run a bunch of Jeeps in the Imperial Dunes. Also some sweet full size suburbans.

Isnt it just used to partrol the park? Its not an actual police vehicle.

Yeah, they use it at the park.. but Superlift took it and was going to do a project on it.. took it to sema.
