The photo of mike was taken using an Elinchrom Ranger and head with a 24" softbox. It was part of a workshop I took earlier this fall.

I'm learning pretty quickly that I have an easier time photographing the kids than I do the parents... Tracy is pretty cool and easy to photograph but Matt was a little more difficult...

I was trying to get the lens flare.... but of course this was the best shot of them, minus the orb on the lass.

something I never have done really is a self portrait ?
was just messing around really had some lighting out for something else :)
and shot this with a single softbox with a grid

took about 4 shots and this is the one I liked
