My 1971 El Dorado, 10 1/2 ft camper has potty, shower, stove, oven, generator, Microwave, and of course hot water heater, with three way refrig. I also put a 13" TV with DVD player in the upper bed, so I can watch my western movies even when in the boonies. It is on my 2005 Ram 3500, Cummins truck, and usually has either my 2006 Jeep, or my 1979 Aristocraft boat on the back.
From our home in the high desert, to Lk Powell, Mead, Havasu, and the river, to all across Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, both North and South Dakota, and Yellowstone. Then across Montana, Idaho, Washington, all around Oregon, and both sides of California, and from San Diego to Crescent city.

Now have the Capri Retreat on the 1/2 ton Sierra. We drove to Bozeman and picked up the Retreat from "Capri North". 
We took a couple of weeks getting back to the Olympic Peninsula. The camper weighs about 1300lbs, with the two of us and some gear we were just about at Gross weight. The Timbrens and sway bar did a great job helping the truck handle the weight. No problem getting us over the Continental Divide, Lolo Pass, Washington Pass and along a few steep back roads. MPG out was about 18 and back, with the camper about 14.5
The camper is comfortable and will stay on the truck as we want to make full use of our new Cabin on the Road.

Ya. We had a few good wind days but ended up surfing ‘the reef’ most days. That didn’t suck either.
