Cool enough in Phoenix now to do some work. Got engine battery cables upgraded, 2/0 grounds and between batteries w/ 3/0 to starter. Finally got camper repositioned and tool boxes mocked up before I ran out of steam, I'm old. Rear of camper fits tight inside of drop down rails, too tight. I'll need to relieve that or find something thin, tough and slick to put between the camper and rails.
I'll get the generator out see where everything works the best tomorrow.

I removed the Hillsboro headache rack and will repurpose it as a drop down deck/porch that will double as spare tire mount. Did I mention I was old AND poor, lol. Just getting started good, really.

‘02 F350 7.3 w a ‘03 Northern Lights 9.6’ Lite Series. One week trip in northern Washington and Southern BC exploring fall colors and some mountain biking. Got a project list to work on but is promising to be a good platform for future adventure.

Truck, camper and Jeep. 2015 SRW 3500 Duramax. 2015 Arctic Fox 990. 2016 JKU in tow.

Might be time to go to a DRW truck though, as I've been having some wheel and tire issues lately, due to the heavy camper I am guessing. Suggestions on this would be appreciated.

That is a heavy camper. I’d really like one but they run at least 1000# more than my Lance. Would involve more truck mods to make it work for me. Too bad though as I really like the layout.

Great looking truck and camper whiskybravo!

Do you have a lift? If so, how does it feel with the camper on it and the extra suspension height? Solid or tippy?

And what size tires are you running?

Yes i have a 4" lift running with 33's. Very solid ,I change the front springs to a wedge parabolic, rear are feathered
dually springs. Combined with front and rear sway bars. It corners very well on highway and off roads.

Are the parabolic springs from Dendoff, by chance? I saw they make some for these trucks. I like that idea of switching to dually springs on the rear. Did you just swap in some used ones from a W350?

I'm leaning towards some 2-3" Skyjacker springs on the front and then maybe some W350-rated springs (or maybe used) in the rear, airbags (to replace the weird and dysfunctional airbags it currently has) and run 33's.

Hi, was wondering how you attached the camper to the flatbed...I don't see any tiedowns...is the camper attached directly to the flatbed?
