Picked up this LR3 SE last week. I defected from Montero world....it's got the V6 and was well cared for. New tires today (Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10).

Signal Peak run near Lake Tahoe. Sheared off the rear trailing arm bolt on the LR3 on an easy section coming home.

Congrats on the purchase and low miles for an 08.........woot woot.

Save the money on the powdercoat and buy a full-size spare and plasti-dip your wheels the color of your choice after you mount your new rubber. Even a scratch on the plasti-dip is touched up in a few minutes. Great call on the IID Tool, I recommend the Bluetooth model, you'll love it when you see how much it'll teach you about your wagon and save you on diagnostic fees at the "Stealership".
