Topless....

OH now thaty is just plain awesome. I LOVE the bar-work you did to'er... BEAUTIFUL truck mate.

just a few to share
HEY!! Rovertrader I remember seeing that first pic of yours in Petersens a few years back. the Portal sure is full of "print-media-celebritys" eh... I was just looking through back issues and found a certain beautiful old K5-blazer on some tall skinny TSL's, Chasers Taco, a whole spread on U-joints awesome E-series Van and a few other rigs I know from this site. It's kinda fun to see people you are familiar with getting their share of time in the lime-light what with all the great work everyone puts into their rigs...

Anywho, Rovertrader, those are some beauties...I love the 2nd pic, the LWB 2dr (110 or109???)

Cheers

Dave

haha cheers mate. I wish I could say I did the bar work, but no, that's just how I got her. Barwork has been great though. We did a trip in the outback last year and it was great for pushing trees out of the way.
She's rough as guts, but she's a good mate to me. Has not let me down yet.

hi all.......... its been a while since i posted last. life here has been a alittle manic.

anyway i am moving forwards with my discovery again finaly.

yesterday i fitted a leather interior as the orginal seats were very tired. all i can say is wow what a difference. there are quite a few modifications since the last time i posted a picture including bigger tyres and a lift with gaz shocks. i have re bushed underneath so it now handles alot better on the road and off the road. it also has dvd/ sat nav system in the front and rear tv screen in the rear.

i am heading to france in 7 weeks for some underground offroading ( more of that later ) so i am holding fire with the rack system that is planned.

still trying to decide what bumper systems to have yet but i am not going to rush in to it and take my time to make the right choice. so any way here are some pics for you./.....hope you like

thanks for the coments.....its starting to look the way i first thought it would now......

the leather came out of a low milage classic range rover. there are leather resue packs you can buy cheaply enough that will make the leather look great again. the tiny cracks i do have will soon be treated to this .... its only the drivers seat that has a tiny bit.

its more of a question of what year will it be when we rechassis it for a customer.

Aaaaahh. I can see you are a very intelligent businessman and skipped past all the formalities straight to the important part.

I am about two years away from doing exactly what your customer is doing.......:coffeedrink:

I have heard nothing but praise from you and your company about trustworthiness and quality of work.

Thanks for info.

(sorry about hijack)

Thankyou. The vehicle will probably end up in CA, as a Berverley Hills car dealer has expressed an interest.
