Post up your drawer/storage system

What drawer slides did you use? I'm at the point I need to decide if I'm going to build drawers or boxes and shelves.

Chuck box is finally done. What a colossal amount of work! My 63QT ARB fridge will sit right behind it, in the spot currently occupied by tools and other junk.

Turned out pretty much just as I imagined it. A few imperfections here and there, but overall I'm very happy and think this should work very well for my needs.

Secured to the sliding platform with four stainless M8 bolts.

All tucked away with a precision fit under the tonneau.

Far column open.

Worthington 10lb propane tank lives here.

Just enough clearance to fully open the stove.

Here is the slide I just finished. It holds a solar generator, fridge/freezer, and cooler. I ended up with about a 1/2 in clearance between the fridge and the lid.

Sweet bed cover. I've got their ATV carrying one on my long bed Ram. My whynter 65 qt fridge is too tall to put on a slide though as it just barely fits under the cover sitting right on the bed floor. But it does fit in the back seat are of ym ram when i fold out the load floor. This is the bst bed cover method I've seen for keeping weather out too. I've had full height bed caps, 2 different types of roll up (like a garage door almost) covers and then this. Only thing I Changed was to cut holes at the 4 corners of the gasket, this is because otherwise the gasket can fill with water and when you open the cover it spills out quickly and can run over the rail into the bed. After I cut small holes in each corner (on the outside edge) I don't have that problem as now the water can go in 1 end and out the other, bed still stays dry.

I'm looking to build almost exactly what you've done in my trailer. I have the same arb 63 fridge, the yeti 1000 and i'm super tight on height clearance as well. Can you share some more info/pics on your setup please. Details on the slide rails you used and how you constructed it would be super helpful. I'm new to this and its overwhelming to say the least. Looks great btw.

My slide is homemade. I did use a Bedslide mounting kit. It included 4 bolts, 4 riv-nuts, and a riv-nut tool.

-(2) Slide Mounts/Base - 2”x60” steel angle iron
-(1) Slide Deck - 6061-T6 Aluminum Diamond Plate 1/4”x24”x60” (Cut2sizemetals.com)
-(2) Tie Down Track -60” Aluminum L-Track (US Cargo Control)
-(2) Deck Sides - 1/4”x2”x60” Angle Aluminum
-(1) Mounting kit (Bedslide)

Hi folks,
Great to see all your builds.
Here in the UK we don't have space for epic trails and epic 4x4s to drive them...but still crave the ultimate draw system!
So here is my pocket-sized set up in my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk.
The main challenge was still allowing access to the spare wheel and extra storage under the boot floor, hence the high rise draw and slider and new fabricated boot floor that lifts in two halves to get the spare wheel out!
Draw holds all the stuff for an impromptu day out with a heat proof section for the stove to boil the kettle and make a nice cup of English tea!
Sharp eyes may spot the pocket sized fire extinguisher and tiny torch tucked away in the corner.
Not much room to do much else, but I'll let you know if I find something else I can get racked!
Would be great to see any more mini-builds out there.

Thank you Jeffrey! I ordered those slides, just arrive today. Wow...these are heavy, 4x 60" slide rails in a box is almost unmanageable to carry! So you used 2" steel angle iron to mount the slides to for the base right. Did you use 1/8" or 3/16" thickness? I'm assuming 1/8" is sufficient. Also - Any thoughts on mounting the slides to the angle iron in the reverse manner? Meaning instead of having the L with the slides sitting right above the bottom leg of the L ( L-slide-pull out shelf-slide-_| ) having it ( _|-slide-pull out shelf-slide-L ) That would allow me to mount the slide and shelf super low, almost touching the bottom of the trailer. Since my fridge has less than 1/2" clearance from the lid, im trying to keep it super super low. I'm assuming as long as I have a decent crossmember in the back the frame structure with reverse L mounting would be ok. Thoughts?

EDIT: Ignore the "L" direction question, I ended up going with the traditional angle iron L under the slide design.
