Nice spot. I won't name it, but my guess is that you'll recognize the location in this pic, too.

And, since this is an awning thread, (albeit an old one), here's my "stay in one place" awning and kitchen setup: a 12X12 conduit-framed rig. I stake it down with ratcheting tie-downs at all four corners, and then X-brace the internal sides of the walls. It survives 30 mph Baja winds just fine.

Don't know exactly. They were at Target, as part of the dorm room furnishing stuff. If you're interested, I'd check in the fall when back to school stuff comes out.

Can you show how it is mounted in the bed and how it drops down ?

two pieces of tube with pins. its sleeved so I just pull the pins and lift it up. the tubes are welded to my bedcage. have since replaced one of the pins with a hitch lock so it doesnt walk away

would you buy the same one again or something different next time?

I would buy the Campinglab one again, or perhaps try the Fiamma Pro 35.

thank you for the reply.

2 follow ups:

do you have any experience with the Camping lab enclosure?

does Camping lab restock regularly? site has said "taking preorders" the couple times I've checked.

No experience with the zip on shelter, but I have eyed it in the past.
It could replace my shower/crapper enclosure.

Not sure why Fernando is out of stock on items.

ARB awning and mosquito net

This is my set up, works great! Nice and compact, easy to use and fairly $cheap...
Now it's so much nicer to cook away from those blood thirsty beasts and makes for a sound sleep!

Cheers,
Mr. D

I have experience with the Privy room, to me it feels like a tent very heavy duty, no problems so far; I would buy again!

Fernando has them in stock right now!

I have the Privy and if is very heavy duty, I would buy again!

Sweet Mr D. - how fast is to set-up the bug screen and awning? Leaning towards a Fiamma F35 - but no bug screen available......

I'd say under 2 minutes to set it all up, it's very quick and simple. And the price was right, I bought it here from a vendor and got everything for under $330 if my memory serves me right...

Cheers!
