Can't wait to pin stripe this. Still waiting on OME kit. Mounted the 33" Bighorns on rims, waiting on new driving lights to install before I mount the muds.

Indeed! I couldn't stand the "Adriatic Blue" so had to work with something in my color palette...

Your rig is looking good! Just and FYI, I installed KYB Monomax shocks. They came highly recommended, have a larger bore diameter (which supposedly translates to more effective cooling) and are half the price of OME. I'm not sure if they're available for your truck, but its something to look at. I'll probably go with OME or Ironman torsion bars soon. I can feel the weight of the bumper and winch out front, but the shocks seem to be an improvement over stock.... so far. We'll be testing them thoroughly this weekend though! Pics to come!

i'm new to the expedition portal & this is my 2nd Montero but, 1st build contender... 98 Montero.. all factory so far.. planning to upgrade and gitterdone.. removed stock running boards so far.. hate light tan leather interior so i'm gonna black it out with duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint.. i may run 32x11.50 on stock 15's.. what must i do to accomodate 33x12.50 on those stock 15's? is it possible without a lift kit?

I'm loving the Montero's and their owners on this thread.. i don't feel so alone now.. can't wait to bug the heck out you for ideas and expert advise.. bless you all.. semper-fi & hoorah.

I'm currently in the Death Valley area...there's a group of close to 20 of us checking out old mining camps and such. I'm sleeping in the truck with my dog at a RV park nearby that has WiFi, so I thought I'd upload a few pics from my phone from today's adventures. We did about 120 miles today.
