A creek crossing through the snowmelt last weekend. The water was fairly quick, but it felt like I was driving through a parking lot :smiley_drive: Sorry about the pics, an iphone was all we had.
New to the forum. Here's our '95 LS during various excursions to eastern Oregon, Hells Canyon, Utah's Cathedral Valley, California's Saline Valley, etc.
I am running a 2 inch body lift and 35x13.5 Toyo M/T´s. They barely rub on my rear tube bumper at full stuff and they touch the plastic inner fender on the front at full flex and full lock turn. I have rolled out my fenders a bit and cut off the front splash guards.
I will be picking up a 95 Montero SR tomorrow morning, $1500! All the pictures they sent me looked good and they seemed to be upfront with the issues the truck has, which seemed to be the common ones with this truck.
Can't wait!
Clearcoat on the hood is peeling, but I'm OK with that. Hoping to paint the truck similar to a Camel Trophy Disco anyways (and actually a similar build). Seat has a tear in it, but a set of the smittybilt seat covers will cover that.
Haven't gotten it yet. I am OK with walking away and driving back home if it is not as described.
But, it looks as if I will have a new truck tomorrow!
You can get to them without removing the plenumn on the 95...You will still need to remove a lot of bracketry and what not. Then you can remove the black plastic covers and get to them. Make sure you have an extention with the U-joint for your ratchet. If you want to do the wires you'll need to Take the plenumn off.
