Quite a few look-a-likes here! Picked mine up last week. 181k and it has a few leaks (as discussed in my own post) but love it for the most part. Will look different from others soon! :wings:

Not my photo, but it looks like someone spotted a couple new Tritons and a Challenger/Sport.

I think it needs a color keyed grille and a nice red Mitsubishi emblem.

Hi guys,

I'm new on the forum... well below it's a photo of my 2014 Mitsu Challenger (Aussie Market) with my hard shell RTT. I mainly do camping for one to 3 nights away, so I don't require a huge amount of touring gear, but I still bring some comfort when I go out.

I've done few things to thje rig to make life away from home even better. Things that I've done so far include the RTT with a 120w solar panel on top hooked to a 105 Amp deep cycle battery through a cheap solar controller. the second battery provides enough power for my 45 lts fridge (on a fridge slide), camping lights and a CPAP machine (so I let others sleep).
I also got an UHF, bullbar and foxwing awning on the passenger side (yes the passenger side is in the other side of the car!!!).

Still to come, is a much needed suspension upgrade, AT tires and bash plates.

Here is my 2000 Montero Sport XLS. Does anyone make a snorkel for this generation? I have seen them for the older Sports and the full size Montero/Pajeros but not ones like mine. I would love to get one!

So the wife's beloved '03 Montero Sport Limited in Munich Silver, (right and foreground) needed to have the driver's front fender repaired. We've put it off way too long. I ran across the identical twin (2002 Limited), with of course, a perfect driver's fender, rear passenger door, (ours has a dent), passenger seat belt, (ours has a tear) along with a spare 3.5L engine (which will also fit my '02 full size Montero), trans, set of wheels, and most every other spare part we might ever need.

Assuming the paint match is close enough after cleanup, then I have a ton of spare parts for less than the cost of the fender fix at a body shop. The twin is pretty rough otherwise, light front end and rear damage, interior not so hot although the second row leather seats are great. It was a repossession with starting issues, headed for the junkyard. Is it Mitsubishi "blasphemy" to strip and store the good parts and scrap the remaining body?

She loves the truck, and will accept nothing else, as long as I can keep it running and in decent cosmetic condition. We just installed a new Katzkin leather interior last Christmas, and I've done lifters, and valve seals, along with all the usual 3.5L maintenance issues.
