Did you do the build or buy it like that? I know they aren’t cheap! You got an awesome set up!Here's our 2004 Yukon XL 2500 with an 06 LBZ swapped in by Eric @ Duraburb. Still relatively stock otherwise, but is slowly becoming the new overlanding/tow rig.

We had Duraburb do the motor swap for us. I provided all the parts both the Yukon and the donor truck, as well as doing a lot of prep work to save on $$. Duraburb does a great job. They know what they are doing when it comes to getting the motor into these rigs. And everything works (including rear AC/heat, dual fuel tank setup, transfercase shifter). It's been a great rig and have nearly 20k miles on it since the swap. The truck has 209k total (135k on the powertrain).Did you do the build or buy it like that? I know they aren’t cheap! Yes I’m aware of the company, what I meant is did he have them do the build or did he buy it built, I should have explained it better.Duraburb builds these. They swap the suburban a 3/4 ton duramax chassis

I don't think Duraburb swaps the chassis, they start with a clean 2500 Suburban or Yukon XL and swap in the Duramax motor and 6 speed tranny. I've seen a few for sale around here, typically they go for ~$15k or so.
All the ones I've seen for sale have been GMT800 platforms. I guess they probably could do a GMT900 as well but 2500's are easier to find on the GMT800 platform.
AFAIK GM never made a 2500 Suburban on the current K2XX platform. I read a couple years ago that GM was supposed to be making a very limited number of 3500 Suburbans for sale to special customers. My assumption is that these will be used as the basis for armored limousines, probably sold to government agencies and/or very wealthy customers who need such things.
Even when it was stock I could only get to about 70. Now, if I really push it I can get to just over 70, mostly run about 60-65. Uphill is where it really “ shines”. Pretty sucky in traffic, but it always was. Up hills, that is.How are those 5.13 gears treating you? I just had 4.88s installed and Im currently on 33 inch tires. I can get to about 70 but no faster. LOL
Think I need to go to 35's.
