What is it? My wife now wants one, having seen yours.
Its made by the Jumping Jack Trailer forks but this is the smaller version called the Lifetime Trailer. Its about 1500$ less that the JJ and is much more compact so you can wheel with it. JJ has a 92 inch wheel base,, this one has the same wheel base as my 4Runner. Lifetime is here: http://www.lifetime.com/trailers/lifetime-tent-trailer

I`ve a few ground Tents, for Trecking I used a Hilleberg Nallo 3 from 2002 ( sorry no Pic) for Wintertrips I have a Hilleberg Keron 3 GT
And my RTT on the Rig, its simular to all the Chinese RTTs with the Ripstop Polyester that you have on the US Market...

The view from within the tent was even more spectacular
Never understood the advantage of rooftop tents but this puts a different perspective on it. Not only watching the sunset but easy to make a morning surf check without getting out of the sleeping bag.

Crom, I was thinking of using a 10x14 tarp as a footprint for my 10x10 but I've heard that if you use a larger ground cloth that water will either pool, splash all over your tent and/or allow water to get between the tent and tarp. Have you found any of these issues to be true? I live in the southeast so I can expect rain anytime I camp.
I do like how it creates a porch for you though. The camo mat that I have in my photo above is an old nylon poncho liner that I can stake out. Because its nylon it dries quick and super easy to clean off.
