Post your tents

Spent 4 1/2 hours reading this thread, one of the best threads on the internet! Thank you all for the great read and pics.
I hope it's normal to have more than one tent too, there are 4 in the garage. I don't have pics so I'll not take up more space, just wanted to say thanks!

I have 4, and they all get used, just in different ways. My favorite, the REI BaseCamp 6 got a strenuous workout this past week camping in Northern AZ and Utah. Some serious storms blew through, but the BaseCamp stayed dry and upright. Which is something most of the other tents I saw did not do so well, but those winds and increadible rain deluge's were spectacular. I have no idea what the winds were, but would not be surprised if they exceeded 60mph. Trees were down all over the place.

Storms are freeeeky, the kids tent in the backyard remained standing at a house that was damaged in the Joplin tornado.

As a kid I was in a Sears 3 room wall tent with mom and a tornado passed less than a 1/4 mile (water spout on the lake then hit land across the cove) at a camp ground, we did get bounced around a bit trying to hold it up. This was the 60s, no space for the story, but the sides would blow in and out like a balloon, but survived. Some trees down but not "our" tree. No place to be in a bad storm!

Was planning a roof top tent for my trailer but the budget fell out so we're still stuck on the ground. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and spacious and has a swing out door, which we love, and a screened in porch, just takes up a bit more space than we really need and a solid 30 min to set up:

3 season at best, holds up to wind and weather fine. We just want to get to the RTT for the easy up and down.

Only interior shots, caught my wife taking "selfies" and butted my way in:

I do love that I can stand up straight in 80% of this tent though.

Here's two of mine. The Northern Equinox was used this past week-end for the first time in a few years. I had forgotten how roomy it actually is. We basically lived in it for five months when we were building our house. The Maggiolina Extreme is currently for sale. Nice tent but we are now looking at going a different route.DSC_0693.jpgIMG_1058.jpg

Put up a harken hoister on Sunday and added some chains today. Tucks up out of the way nicely. Unfortunately couldn't squeeze it above the garage door.

The workbench and vise are located under the tent. added the chain for some piece of mind.
