Post your tents

I've heard that about SoCal. My brother actually lives in West Hollywood and swears that he misses rain/thunderstorms because its that uncommon. Avoiding debris in the tent in my biggest push towards a porch especially with kids. Kids track so much stuff in the tent that by nightfall Im better off sleeping outside the tent.

lost on the mainland
For entry shade cloth or one of the cgear sandmats which are really nice
Also a small indoor out door carpet that lets water through

For me those are better than plastic tarp

Last year was our first in a Oztent RV-4. Seems very well built. Handled the winds at the Overland Expo and all stops on the 3 week round trip to get there. Still a bit tight for a family of four.

The picture is a fall trip on the Whipsaw trail. Lots of room with just me and the kids. The wife doesn't do cold camping!

Thinking about adding the zip in sides to create a second room

Looking forward to season two.

Just a couple of the Safari Bow from this past week. I don't have the awning or the wind break on. But I can truly say, the best tent I've ever owned. It was like sleeping in a bunker.

^^That is a solid looking tent and what Overland Journal should have had in their last tent review.

Here's a pic of our RTT from a trip to the Ozarks a couple weeks ago

We primarily use hammock tents whenever possible. These pics were taken on a campout about a month or so ago. High temps were in the 20's and we were toasty warm. :)
