REI tent - Outside Moab

When car-camping we always use this 4 man REI tent. Its big and solid in a storm. This pic is from the Manti La Sal N.F. outside Moab in June 2013. In Moab it was 94 degrees. At this campsite - @ 15 Miles from Moab - the 10,000 ft. elevation brought the temps down to 65 degrees in daytime.

Nice spot.

Kodiak VX 10x10 tent in Yosemite Creek campground. We love our tent. We camped like royalty with the Mr. Heater and a 12v fan for white noise. It was like the Bahamas 75 F all night long in the Kodiak

Is that the Coleman Helios x2?

Yes,it is. Sorry, just saw your question. I have used it a couple times so far. This time pictured and one weekend off the buffalo river in northern Arkansas. The weekend in Arkansas I was in a thunderstorm all night. I was warm and dry all night. It did great.

"What do you mean it's only 60 out? I'm cold and that means it's bedtime... open up!"

The tent is a Coleman Instant Tent 4, pretty much a more economical (read cheaper) version of the Turbo Tents for those of us who don't do much extreme weather camping. Mine is on it's 3rd season if I remember correctly and still going strong.
