I have an 06 Express AWD which I believe has the 7.2" front, correct? I'm considering going whole-hog and doing a 4L65E or 4L70E swap with an NP247 case (if I can configure one to work). Current case is a BW AWD with viscous coupling designed for 40/60-ish split.
I don't plan on hardcore offroading, but I'm doing this partly so I can do more overlanding and adventure camping. Don't want to break a front diff giving it locked-in torque.
Thoughts?
