Today my wife ordered the AT Flippac! She added a few things onto the list.... of course. She should be ready in about 8 weeks. I hope I will have some time off to run down there and pick her up. My work keeps me away to much from home. Im currently sitting in Fargo, North Dakota. I would also like to say that the customer service from Martyn at AT Trailers has been excellent to date.

A few of the items ive ordered have arrived as well. I ordered a Carli diff cover, Amsoil Diesel oil and filter and a Baldwin 5 micron fuel filter. The next major purchase will be the Carli 2.0 suspesion kit and some other high comp gear from Carli.

You'll love your Carli diffguard! The first day I got mine, I took it on the trail and beat the hell out of it. Ya, I took off a lot of powder coating but it never dented.

Any thought to full leaves?

Lovin the build so far, keep it up! Always a pleasure to see some 3rd gen's built up :D

Since this is a long range expedition vehicle I will be carrying a full load most of the time. I will need the one ton rating. If I get a Power Wagon again then I would definately go with the full leafs on that. Im amazed at how nice the parts are from Carli! Well thought out and heavily abused/tested in the field before they hit the stores.

They perform even better than they are built. You wont be disappointed. To top it off, all the guys at Carli are top notch.

and thanks! :wings:

Thanks. I plan on building my own cabinets for the back bed area. The wife is also excited about the build and will be picking up a part time job to help along the build. I love that woman!

We are now looking for a Freeze Fridge. Engle and ARB are on the top of our list. Any other ones we need to check out?

edgestar....I believe it uses the same compressor at around 1/2 of the cost

there is a write somewhere.

you can set the temp with a digital readout. Ive used mine a few times and it will freeze fine.

Well I finally got back home early this morning. While I was gone it looks like Santa was busy delivering me some presents! I will get some pictures later when I go and unload my truck. I the mean time I have been very busy designing my rear bed cabinets. I have decided to go stainless steel. I was considering marine grade plywood and other types of natural fibers like Bamboo. But the easiest and longest lasting material would most likely be stainless steel. It wont be as easy to fab up but in the long run I think it will work out fine. For now I have gone as far as I can until I get my Flippac mounted up. The general layout though is done.

Heres some pictures of the Amsoil, Carli Diff cover and Power Wagon front skid plate. I should have these installed sometime this week. I picked up four extra quarts of Amsoil to store in the truck.

FYI, be sure to trim a 2" X 6" strip off the back corner of the Power Wagon plate, otherwise it will hit the Cummins oil pan when the suspension cycles. It does a good job protecting the steering damper and linkage, so it's worth it!
