I think that's the point people are forgetting here. The Powerwagon failed in certain areas, trying to beat it at it's own game, would also be a failure.
Payload and towing need to be better than a jeep. Super soft springs aren't needed if there are no hardcore trails for the truck to fit down. A winch behind the thin oem Dodge bumper is just plain silly. And there needs to be a camper rated version. 33's and 4.10's ain't good enough either. The PW used to come with 4.56's.
If I was Ford I'd skip the winch, Warn already has that covered, and a nice bumper.
I'm the opposite. The block of wood styling of the newer Ford's doesn't look to aerodynamic. I feel the '98-'02' Superduties had great lines.And of top of that the Ram indeed has got a better rear suspension system, which is more suitable for off-roading.
Although I prefer the looks of the ford over the Ram. I don’t find that curvy design style of Ram very attractive.
