Here's my 6 month old Newfoundland/Labrador mix named Norma Jean. She's already bigger than the Labs at the dog park, and is tipping the scales at 90lbs. Great with the neighborhood kids, and listens very well for a puppy. Got her free out of a litter of 10 from a local family after I tried for about a year to find a dog to rescue. We're pals...

Reno is 14 in 5 days and is nearing the end - but now thinks he's a puppy again and is more demanding than when he was 6 months old! Plus at 90# and knowing how to push all our buttons...

Was raining outside in PDX (surprise...NOT) so we let the old guy in as old bones ache in the cold and damp. So with cow leg and in the den he was in doggie luxury...

Gus's first day swimming. He didn't exactly like it, but he didn't hate it either! :)...

He'll be fine - Norma Jean wasn't too keen on swimming the first time I took her into the pond. A few weeks went by and we went out there again, lets just say she wasn't dry the rest of the weekend!

That's great! I have a feeling Gus will learn to love it.

The first time in, I carried him about 8' away and "helped" him to the steps. He immediately got out, but sat right where he is in that pic. The second time in, he stayed on the top step with me for a couple minutes, then got out. I got a few pictures and video with the GoPro in the water as well.

I also had him with me on a raft and he was shaking for about 30 sec., then calmed down and seemed pretty comfortable. He'll be seeing that pool a lot and I'm expecting to have him jumping in before too long. :snorkel:

On a side note, he doesn't know how to shake himself dry very well yet. :D
