We got Aesa from an animal protection society back in December. We were told she was a mix of border collie, lab, and probably a few more things.
Here she is on the way home from the shelter. We drove 900km return in one day to get her. We drove 1100km home from visiting family for Christmas the day before.
I am sure everyone in this thread knows that dogs double as inconvenient, sporadic alarm clocks that you can't set or turn off. My alarm clocks love to stretch when they wake up. They usually put their paws on me, dig their claws in and get a good stretch in. I'd rather be woken up by someone bringing me breakfast in bed, not getting a claw in my eye... But whatever. Thinking about it kinda makes me laugh. It's just that frustrating part of the "fun" of having a dog I guess.
