New Mexico Ballooning

Last weekend we drove over to Albuquerque, NM to enjoy the Balloon Festival. The day we got up at O-Dark 30 to see the mass assention I got all set up to shoot the event and it ended up being canceled due to winds. Very rude. :sombrero:

Oh well, the day before we took a ride in a hot air balloon and got a few shots so all was not lost.

Thanks. That was about the only opportunity with a scenic background. Most of the trip was over neighborhoods. :-(

A hot air balloon ride over the wine country in France or the New England rolling hills with fall colors would be much more enjoyable.
