So I stopped by Longrange308's place and I find him about halfway installing one side. I lend a finger or two of help as there wasn't much I could do. Got started on getting the torsion bars cranked. Super easy and all nuts broke free effortlessly. Got the fronts raised up with about a 3/8" gap between the bumpstop and UCA gap actual. It sits a little more level, but still needs that extra inch to finish it off. It looks to be about a 1.5-2" increase
Of course I didn't measure it before I started... I'll have to pull a measurement from ground to fender well tomorrow and compare some notes.

Must be nice not to live in the rust belt

Hey Richard. It was good meeting you and hanging out with you yesterday! I appreciate the help with everything. Let me know if you want some help pulling a leaf or two out of that AAL when you get back from your trip!

Ditto! Got back around 6pm and the truck performed as expected minus the creaking suspension front and rear. Might need some heavier duty lube/grease instead of silicone lube. I've dexided The rear I'll drop one leaf to even it out a bit. Might give you a ring next weekend or the next to wiggle that leaf out.

Took a trip out to Monache Meadows with a few other ExPo guys. Didnt really take pictures for some reason this trip... I guess having two extra guests riding along felt a little odd.

Just a few of our campsite:

Beautiful campsite at least!

Although we were on the wrong side of the river away from the group, it was quite nice and secluded. The Kern was just behind our site just about 50 steps out.

I'd definitely make another trip out there and tackle Sherman Pass as well. It was really scenic with many meadows scattered along the way.

After an expected 2 week wait time, the Calmini UCA's I ordered had finally shipped and arrived this evening. Installation will commence tomorrow morning, after a run to my local auto parts to pick up some bushing grease, a big effing hammer/mallet and a floor jack to replace my current crappy one. Overall the UCAs are nicely made, comes with greaseable bushings and balljoints which are a nice addition. Didn't come with grease from Calmini from what I've read through reviews, but that's alright with me. Only issue is getting into the garage since I'm lifted now and ********** the door up above, and the driveway isn't flat... Might just have to chalk up the rear wheels and do a half-in/half-out of the garage.

I'm sure you've all seen them before but here are some pictures:

More pictures to come post-install. :) We'll see how troublesome the un-installation of the OE parts goes and how many new swear word combo's I'll come up with.

Very nice! The quality of those look great, can't wait to see them installed.

Might I suggest airing the tires down to fit in the garage?

That would've been a good idea but I need at least 3" of drop... or more. My trucks half way in the garage with the wheels chocked up and hand brake down. I was able to get both front tires out.

It took me 4 hours to finally get started. Turns out my battery has been dying (auto zone gold, came with the truck when I bought it) and was on its last leg. After running errands to get the right tools, my truck wouldn't start to pull into the driveway. Had to take the other car to get the battery tested and replaced. I opted for an Optima Yellow top. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd need to drop $240 on a car battery. Nor did I see the day is be installing UCA's on the Xterra. And so I'm eating lunch and having a beer while the WD40 rust penetrating oil works its magic.

Now that's some blingy hardware right there, nice! In addition to being stronger and the greasable joints are they longer than stock UCAs too?
