I'm at that point with the damino effect on the suspension. I need to refresh the suspension at some point and I see dollar signs everywhere.

How do you like the blitzpro lights? I'm considering a small one to replaces halogen backup lights to lower the power consumption. I like what you have done with the truck so far! Keep it up!

One step ahead of you. I already have inner/outer tie rods, new front hub assemblies and ball joints (if needed) priced out as well as all the suspension upgrade stuff. Its going to be an expensive endeavor, but worth it in the end if I do it all at once...

Wow you might as well do the Titan front-end swap with that much change. :D

Thanks Dmski! I like the Blitzpro's. I have a single 6" for a rear backup light and it lights up the back end quite well. I have it mounted on the lower part of my swingout so it's sort of hidden away. Being low, I can really see where my tires are going to end up and what is actually behind me. I'm contemplating moving it up top with the single on the roof and have both of those wired up with a switch and toggled in reverse.

Ugh.. Why egg me on? I mean, it would be nice, but I think at this point I would be better served going the direction I am, saving the money for Armor and then doing a TS later..

Gah! Your killing me.. Now the thought of a sweet *** Titan swap is in my head!!!

You know you want to do it some time down the road... why not now since you're already upgrading suspension and steering components. Armor isn't that important, IMO. Just unnecessary weight unless you're out on sketchy trails a lot, or encounter large animals mozy-ing on the road. Sliders on the other hand would come in handy on-trail. But don't let me persuade you though on the TS swap.... :D :D

I already have the sliders.. Armor is more for the ability to mount a winch and air compressor up front than anything else, and because it make the X look like a BAMF.. lol.

You could mount a winch obviously after some modifications to the OE bumper and custom mounting points at literally a fraction of the cost. :D Just saying... But man an armored front bumper does look pretty ************. Alright alright I digress.

Had my mechanic install the 4x4parts 3leaf AAL... talk about extreme rake. The AAL netted me a complete 3" rear end lift. Not what I wanted; I knew I should've left out one leaf. Tomorrow will have to be adjusting the torsion bars after work and hope for the best of a near level height, and the AAL settling an inch or two overnight... Otherwise I'm taking my back asswards rig out as-is this weekend. I was optimistically hoping for the weight of the rear tire carrier to help bring down the AAL as it was sagging my rear end on stock leafs already. Maybe if I leave my jerry cans filled 24/7, that's an additional 80lbs on the far end of the rear.... :D
Loaded up with guns ammo and gear worth for 3 people all day, and about 500lbs of meat bags (2 friends), I was riding on the bumpstops on stock leafs. Without my friends and the load, I'm typically riding about 2" from the bumpstops. Now with the AAL's, I'm probably near 6" of clearance. Completely perplexed as to how stiff these really are.

Option1 Hope the leafs settle overnight and also readjusting the torsion bars will even out the ride height
Option2 Take it back to my mechanic tomorrow and pay again to have him remove a leaf... the right leaf I do not know. That's another $200 in labor and hoping it's the right leaf (possibly the middle or smallest leaf).
Option3 Order the Calmini UCA's ($400) Monday and adjust the torsion bars more... :smilies27 This will definitely lead to wheels and 33" tires

I would run them for a bit before you take oene out, they will settle a bit especially after you load them down this weekend
