Did a little more exploring this past weekend. Was planning on going to Big Bear, but the gf had to work and take care the sick and old doggy. Just took the local trail again around 4:00pm and went out a little further past Santiago Peak. Headed out via Indian Truck Trail and didn't exit the trailhead till about 10:30pm. I got to test out all the lighting and I love it. It makes night runs that much more comforting. Unfortunately my camera battery died once I hit the peak so no night pictures were had..
Then went out with my buddy to check out a little shooting area south of Lake Elsinore at about midnight. Did a little more exploring off road, popped off a few rounds at the spot and we called it a night! It definitely beats driving out 2+ hours for BLM land.
More creaks, squeaks and pops have cropped up though... -_-#
