Did a little more exploring this past weekend. Was planning on going to Big Bear, but the gf had to work and take care the sick and old doggy. Just took the local trail again around 4:00pm and went out a little further past Santiago Peak. Headed out via Indian Truck Trail and didn't exit the trailhead till about 10:30pm. I got to test out all the lighting and I love it. It makes night runs that much more comforting. Unfortunately my camera battery died once I hit the peak so no night pictures were had.. :( Then went out with my buddy to check out a little shooting area south of Lake Elsinore at about midnight. Did a little more exploring off road, popped off a few rounds at the spot and we called it a night! It definitely beats driving out 2+ hours for BLM land.

More creaks, squeaks and pops have cropped up though... -_-#

Nice pics. Hate to say it, but I have visions of that side mount exhaust being claimed by a boulder one of these days. Hope it doesn't haha.

The angle doesn't look any worse than the stock exhaust on mine

I've noticed that as well but I'd hate to dent and replace this exhaust. They don't sell these anymore.

I chopped mine off because I was worried about it. Doesn't even peek out from under the bumper :D And no emissions tests in Michigan.

I'd chop it but its a Nismo exhaust. No chopping here. Stop bragging about your emissions hahaha. You're lucky you don't have Nazi type CARB/EPA restrictions like we do here in California.

Mwahahaha :D I've been thinking about doing headers instead of the exhaust...and you can be jealous of the lack of emissions testing here, but I'm jealous that you have trails closer than 3-4+ hours away...

Hahah no worries. We can't have everything now, can we...?

Are there any significant gains with aftermarket headers?

Are there any significant gains with aftermarket headers?

The DT headers "noticeably increase gas mileage and power," with "low end grunt" and "acceleration from a stop improved."

That's why these are on my (endless) list. However, they are also "damn near impossible" to do without a body lift, which is extremely disappointing since I don't plan to do that.

I'm doing the DT headers on my second gen after gone. Is this the wrong time to mention I don't have to worry about emissions and live an hour and a half from Moab?

They really do require a body lift? That's quite disappointing to hear with a noticeably difference in gain. How can you design headers that need a body lift? That sounds like quite a flaw.

Yes, yes it is hahaha. Keep rubbing it in.

Not required. Just a major pain in the rear (from what I gather). I'm still going to look into it, knowing that it's possible. Challenge accepted!
