I hear a set of 255/85s calling your name ![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I would run them for a bit before you take oene out, they will settle a bit especially after you load them down this weekend
x2.
...but then option 3![]()

Yeah I might end up doing that but i ordered the Calmini UCA's already. D'oh! If they come in tomorrow, I'm throwing them on. If the rear end settles after this weekend I'll readjust the front height.... if they don't come in before I leave, I'll hold off on the UCA's and see how much they really settle. I might just suck it up and do a 2" front end lift...
Haha what kind of tires and how much shipped? Just asking for the just-in-case scenario![]()
All you would need is the new sway a way torsion bars, will give you enough clearance. Might not even need the UCAs
Cooper ST Maxx. Only $954 shipped from Tread Depot!!!!! DOOOOOO IIIITTTTTT!![]()
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we'd still need aftermarket UCA's as OEM arms can only articulate so much before you hit the bumpstops. Aftermarket units will give you the extra length and height even with OEM torsion bars + reindexing.
True, however you can get 2" without bump stop issues with stock UCAs.
Try cranking your stock t-bars ans see first how they respond. You will need new t-bars eventually anyways, they firm up the ride, but see how the stock will do for now for a temp fix
I'll give it a whirl tomorrow after work then. I've heard mixed stories regarding the torsion bar crank of people getting anywhere from 1" to 2", and also the loss of downward travel.
I took a look at my height right now and it is about 0.75" from the bumpstop to the UCA.
As long as you leave about 3/8" between the UCA and the bumpstop, you should be fine.
Updates?
